Sudden Loss of Vision in One eye - What to do. In February this year, I experienced sudden loss of vision in my right eye, like a scrambly blur, and in 3 days, I started to get severe pain in my eye and neck when looking to the side. It turned out I had optic neuritis (an inflammation of the optic nerve), which in my case was linked to MS.
Please do not wait around and go to the hospital if you're experiencing this.
